MY MINUTIA

i got vaguely sick. that is, my body is sick but my mind won’t hear it. sunday i woke from codeine sleep at one in the afternoon, showered & went out into the drizzle. i walked through the dirtier bits of downtown to hayes valley in search of a coffeestand (blue bottle!)… but! in my daze, i forgot to write the alley on my hand & lost interest. i went to duboce to meet my girlfriend.

we wandered like pinballs in search of points through market into the mission & dolores park. i guilted some poor bastard off the bench w/the best view & then we sat in the cool air, both deciding that january feels a lot like autumn in san francisco. we kicked around valencia, had yummy burritos & then drank coffee on the lower haight (here). later we sat at her apartment in living room #1 (there’s two) & looked at photographs of vatican city.

now i’m home, still pretending to be healthy because i have work to do in the morning. the end, selah & such.
