it was like summer today in s.francisco… a warm sunlit midday & a cool evening of ocean fog. i left work an hour early w/coffee in mind. i couldn’t find my girlfriend (she was seeing a movie w/another man!*) so i grabbed a cup myself, sitting at the corner of two streets in nob hill where skateboarders bomb into the tenderloin. this is my favorite thing to do lately. i sit at this corner, waiting. i haven’t seen an epic skater in days but that’s alright. there’s an energy to this city… it’s bat-shit insane & you can feel it. often i see people i know. we tell stories detailing the unreality of our neighborhood. selah.
tonite i rearranged my entire apartment. it felt like waking up.
my amazing friend pamela is sending me several rolls of expired slide film this week. i’m bringing it to hawai’i w/me next month. i’ll be there for half of march. then i’m having it cross-processed when i return, tanned & happy.
i discovered jason levins’ rad website staticonthebrain today (via sammich). i’m pretty convinced of its greatness.
