JASON LEVINS PRESENTS THE SKELETON DANCEjason levins of staticonthebrain.com sent me a copy of the skeleton dance, a photocopy zine he’s recently set loose in the wild. i found it in my mailbox last night after having walked across downtown s.francisco balancing pizza on a tin of freshly-baked cookies. such a good nite.for now, the pages hold black & white copies of his fantastic photography. but! if you told me he was going rewrite down & out in paris & london word for word in his own blood for the next issue, i wouldn’t doubt you… his website is pure art & has been one of my favorites for the last few months.future issues of the skeleton dance (perhaps xylene transfers!) will be available at together gallery in lovely portland, oregon.
elsewhere:myspace & good reads.
