THE STATE OR CONDITION IN WHICH HUMAN BEINGS EXIST IN AN IRRATIONAL AND MEANINGLESS UNIVERSE AND IN WHICH HUMAN LIFE HAS NO ULTIMATE MEANING
tonite at the grocery store, i watched a fat man take a candy bar w/out paying & then get tackled into a display of flowers by two massive security guards.
& i felt sorry for him…
& i felt sorry for the overexcited security. & i felt sorry for the sad crowd of gawkers (including me!) that gathered around as these three clowns rolled around in a mound of broken flowerpots & petals.
then i walked out & down my street drinking a ginger ale, singing ‘oh life is absurd… so impossibly absurd.’
