WE ARE A CITY OF CAVE DWELLERS
i left the air-conditioned office for the 90-something degree sunshine this afternoon. i went out to find lunch but the heat threw me… after an hour or so of wandering euphorically around on downtown rooftops & through alleyways & parks, i had completely forgotten to eat. so i rushed to soma for a sandwich & then back to work, arriving late & dripping sweat & holding a falafel wrap. selah.
